Hawk Athletics - HAA

January 1st marked a step towards a bright future for Hawk Athletics as the Athletic Department launched their “Hawk Athletic Alumni” page on the San Diego Christian College web site. The link discusses several avenues for alumni to get plugged-in to Hawk Athletics. First, for the first time in school history a Hawk Athletic Association and Hawk Hall of Fame have been formed to support and promote the dedication of thousands of past Hawk student-athletes and coaches. These two endeavors are designed to be a building block towards a stronger Athletic Department. “Alumni and college athletics go hand and hand”, said Director of Athletics Ed Garrett. “With this new web site we look forward to reconnecting with our alumni and getting them involved in our future. It’s an exciting time to be a Hawk!” The web site also promotes the newly formed Don Palmer Memorial Golf Classic, which will be held February 8th and supports the Hawk Athletic Programs. Beautiful Steele Canyon Golf Course provides the backdrop for this year’s event, as we set to honor a man who gave of himself for college athletics. “Don Palmer was Hawk Athletics”, said Garrett. “I can not think of any better way to honor what he did for this college then to have an event to support Hawk Athletics in his honor.” To sign up a foursome, simply click here!
